Spring Hill Postman Keith Stiles, right, receives an award from Postmaster Richard Nuessen for working 30 years without having a preventable accident. Stiles began working for the U.S. Postal Service in 1979 as a substitute on a split route in Spring Hill and Gardner. He later became a sub for route 1 in Spring Hill. In 1981, he was appointed to the regular position on that route, where he’s worked ever since.
“I enjoy being outdoors, but it’s the people, both in the office and out on the route that really make it a great job,” Stiles said.
