Gardner residents should mark off time on March 11 to meet the three finalists for the city administrator position.
A meet and greet is planned from 5 to 6 p.m., at Gardner City Hall. The public will have an opportunity to meet the top three candidates: Nicholas Edwards, assistant city manager/City of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; James Pruetting, chief of police/Gardner; and Brian Wilson, village administrator/Village of Belleville, Wisc.
The three finalists were chosen by a selection committee from about 40 applications received.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., each candidate will be given time to introduce themselves and share why they would like to serve as Gardner’s city administrator. Attendees will have an opportunity to anonymously provide input via comment cards that they will place in a secure comment box.
