Nearly 100 boys reported to the first day of track practice, March 8, making it the largest boys team in school history.

Top returners include senior Andrew Sprague, a two time state qualifier, who set the discus school record at 163’ last season.
Matt Summerlin, a junior sprinter, ran an 11.18 100 meter last Spring and became the fastest sophomore in school history. He also helped the 400 meter relay set a school record last year.

Junior Sam Stranathan returns as a state qualifier in the discus last year and took third place at Regionals.
A new addition to the coaching staff this Spring is Aaron Webb. He has over 30 years of coaching experience between Louisburg and Blue Valley North and will handle the long jump and high jump events.
First test comes April second at the Shawnee Mission South relays.
