Jason Feeback will head the Spring Hill High School football team next year. As head coach, Feeback is tasked with continuing to grow the school’s program, including encouraging participation, overseeing the weights and conditioning program, and also building community support for the football program. A meet-and-greet with the new coach will be held later this spring.
Feeback, who has more than 17 years of football coaching experience, was previously the head coach for the Chanute (Kan.) High School football program. Prior to his position as Chanute’s head coach, he was an assistant football coach and offensive line coach for the program. He also gained coaching experience at Humboldt High School, Pawnee Heights High School and Ottawa University. Feeback also played football at Belton (Mo.) High School and at Ottawa University.
“We want to continue to build upon the previous successes of the Bronco football program,” Feeback said. “I can’t wait to start working with the coaches and players to build the 2015 football team.”
Besides his coaching duties, Feeback will teach physical education, including weights, at SHHS. He is a member of the Kansas Football Coaches Association and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Feeback has a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education from Ottawa University, and a Master of Science degree in school counseling from Fort Hays State University.
“Our family is excited to become a part of the community,” Feeback said. “We have been impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the Spring Hill School District’s administration and staff who have been working with us to ensure a smooth transition and a successful future.”
