Heather Culbertson’s second-place discus toss highlighted an impressive effort by the seventh-grade Lady Jag track team at the Frontier League meet in Louisburg, May 12.
Besides Culbertson, the Jags 800 relay took third place and Natalie Mullin took fourth at 100 hurdles, as did the 1600 relay.
Fifth places went to Jessica Heniss (100 meters); Sydney Dietz (800 meters), Cassidy Greer (1600 meters), Heniss (high jump); Kyla Trotter (pole vault); Greer (long jump); and Heniss (discus).
Sixth place went to the medley relay and seventh to the 400 relay.
“The team competed real well and set several personal bests,” said Coach Jon Cox. “I’m proud to have worked with this group.”
