King of Kings Lutheran Church, 306 E. Madison, held a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Aug. 26.  Pastor Dan Wehmeier presided over the event that included the use of an antique plow owned by Les Thoden.  Members of the congregation pulled the plow to break the ground on the new building addition to King of Kings.  The addition is a 2,000 sq. ft. fellowship center including youth/adult classrooms to expand the confirmation, youth and adult spiritual growth and a large “open space” to provide more fellowship and out-reach opportunities and events throughout our community while also providing much needed storage space.
