According to the January, 2012 Issue of Kansas City’s Ingram’s business magazine, Gardner Edgerton School District has proven its stature as one of the premier school districts in the area.
Ranked by ACT composite scores in a 22-County Area, Gardner Edgerton School District is listed as the sixth top area Kansas School District in 2012. The school district was ranked 10th in 2011.
The Gardner Edgerton High School graduating class of 2011 posted one of the highest ACT composite scores in history. The average composite ACT score for Gardner Edgerton School District for 2011 was 23.1 according to figures released by the national office of the ACT. The high school’s average composite ACT score for 2010 was 22.8.
Other Johnson County School Districts in the top five include Blue Valley School District, Shawnee Mission School District and Olathe School District.
