The eighth grade boys varsity boys team split games with Louisburg and Spring Hill in a season opener doubleheader at Spring Hill last week.
In the opener, PRMS defeated Louisburg 37-31 but fell to Spring Hill 40-32 in game two.
“We jumped out to an early lead in game one and were able to hang on,” said Coach Kevin Collins. In game two, we had a slow start but rallied within three points in the fourth quarter.”
Zach Galvin led the scoring for the two games with 18 points while Dayvin Johnson and Tyler Goetzmann had 13 points each.
