The Trail Ridge Middle School 7th grade varsity football team traveled to Louisburg Tuesday evening defeated the Wildcats for their first win of the season in a very close and competitive game. The Huskies scored 14 points all in the first half off of a hard touchdown run from Taylor Brockman with the 2 point conversion added by Colton Hawkinson. Lucas Stother contributed to the scoring with a wide open 20 yard touchdown catch. Carson Hilton made a couple critical catches to keep the chains moving late in the game. The Huskies pulled out a 14-6 victory. The 7th grade JV will be in action here at home on Thursday.
