Topeka –Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has released the following statement in reaction to President Obama’s call to end business aviation tax credits:
“Business aviation is one of our state’s and our country’s leading exports,” Brownback said. “We were pleased when U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood was here earlier this year to recognize the importance of, and singing the praises of business aviation.
“The Obama Administration seems to continue to search for ways to ground this important industry. We call on the administration to instead focus on supporting and growing the high skilled, high-wage jobs of the business aviation industry.”
