The girls team scored 63 points to place fourth last May 3 at Shawnee Mission North Relays, just six points from winning it all.
Leading the way was Kendra Wait with a winning toss and school record in the shot of 43-4.75.  Wait also placed second in the pole vault with Morgan McIntire right behind in a new PR of 10-6, senior Becca Mitchell completed the Blazer dominance in vault placing sixth.  Senior Sariah Hull led off the winning 4×1 relay with Morgan and Kennadi Yoder in the middle and Wait anchoring. Wait also won bronze in the 100.
A season best of 125-10 from senior Brenna Davidson in Javelin, was good enough for fourth, the same place Kylie Moorehouse got in 400 also with a season best time. Senior Amy Kamtio was fifth in High Jump and the final points came in the final event with Sariah, Joy Haney, Chloe Hardeman and Kylie finishing fifth  in the 4×4.
Wait is the ninth sophomore in the nation and second in Kansas.
