The Gardner City Council meeting scheduled for Oct. 3 has been cancelled due to lack of quorum.
This is the fourth meeting to be cancelled during the last 12 month period. Meetings are routinely held on the first and third Monday of the month to conduct city business. One of the four cancelled meetings was rescheduled with a special session.
Business scheduled for the Oct. 3 meeting will be undertaken at the Oct. 17 meeting, according to Jeanne Koontz, city clerk.
