Abby Buie won the javelin and pole vault leading the lady Blazer track effort at the Olathe Invitational last week.
Gardner Edgerton High School tricksters also took silver in the javelin and pole vault. Heather Culberston placed second in the javelin, and Karli Smith finished second in the pole vault.
Kayla Burcham took third in the pole vault.
Other medalist included Cassidy Androff in the shot put and Lauren Highfill in 300-meter hurdles. The other medal came from the 3200 relay team of Sierra Coen, Larissa Weidler, Haylei Bell, and Miranda Tenove. All told, GEHS took third in the meet.

The team travels to the Baker University relays and some lady Blazer qualifiers will go to the University of Kansas relays.
