Charlie Briggs’ 1-yard touchdown run with just 7 minutes left in the game lifted the Spring Hill varsity football team to a 22-19 win at Valley Center Oct 8.
Aaron Barnes’ two-point conversion run sealed the verdict and wrapped up the Broncos first win of the season.
Spring Hill opened the scoring on a one-yard touchdown run by Lake Johnson.Eric Kahn added a succesful extra point kick.
Valley Center countered with an eight yard Tate Anderson touchdown run and 26 yard field goal by Neal Supernaul to go up 11-7 at halftime.
Spring Hill went up 14-11 when Johnson connected on an 18 yard pass with Carson King.
Valley Center scored on a 2-yard Anderson run only to see Briggs seal the win with a late touchdown.Barnes adde a two-point conversion run.

Now 1-5, Spring Hill will host Louisburg in first round 4A district play.
