Gardner Edgerton High School freshman Garrett Borth recently competed in the Diamond Combine All-American Bowl game in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Borth was selected to participate in the game by a scout at the Football University Top Gun Showcase in Dublin, Ohio, earlier this year. Borth was one of 70 freshman nationwide selected to play in the game.
Borth competed as the starting defensive end and helped his team to a 10-6 championship win. He had three tackles, four assists, and several hurries on the quarterback.
Garrett is the son of Wally and Dawn Borth of Gardner.
