Several Gardner track stars turned in top performances at the Sunflower State games in Topeka last week.
In the 11-12 year-old girls division, Mallory Boden took first in the 1500 meter race in 6:12.14 minutes. She also took second place in the 3000 meters in 14:12.58 minutes.
In the boys 9-10 year-old group, Payton Gunderson took third place in the shot put with a throw of 16-feet 3-inches. He also took sixth place in the javelin with a throw of 29-feet 9-inches.
In the 13-14 year-old javelin throw, David Grant took eighth with a throw of 48-feet.
In the 15-16 year-old javelin throw division, Dylan Wolford took second with throw of 138-feet 1 inch.
In the 9-10 year old pole vault, Connor Gunderson took first clearing 5-feet. He also took eleventh in the 100 meters in a time of 16.59 seconds.
