A Kansas Highway Patrol trooper is on administrative leave following an officer-involved shooting in Kansas City, Kan., on Feb. 13. Administrative leave is a standard practice in such incidences.
On Friday morning, Feb. 13, members of the Kansas Highway Patrol Troopers were assisting the officers of the Edwardsville Police Department and other local authorities in pursuit of an armed robbery suspect. The pursuit ended with the suspect being shot and killed by responding officers.
The case is under investigation.
