The entire squad traveled to BVN last week for the final regular season duels of the year.
The team was again ready to go, said Tyler Cordts, coach. The JV did what they always do and wrestled scrappy and won a lot more than they lost.
The girls wrestled #4 ranked Olathe West and won eight out of 10 matches on the night. Big wins came from Shelby Daivs and Dakota Konzem who both pinned the #5 wrestler in the state.
The varsity took the mat first against BVN and came away with a 72-12 victory.
Gus Davis had the biggest win of the year.  Davis is the #1 ranked wrestler in the state and wrestled the #2 ranked wrestler last night.  He was dominating 10-1 before pinning him.
Jay Jensen threw a massive headlock to pin the #6 ranked wrestler earning his biggest win to date.  The boys then took on Olathe West and rolled to a 52-18 win.
The team ended the season on a 10 duel win streak and an overall 17-4-1 record.
The team will take two weeks to prep for sub state and regionals!
