More than 40 units of blood were donated over six hours at Edgerton Community Hall Oct. 16.
The blood drive, sponsored by the Red Cross, is especially important during the pandemic.
“Not only does the Red Cross desperately need blood donations right now since many schools canceled their normal fall blood drives, but everyone who donates gets a free COVID-19 antibody test,” said Kara Banks, Edgerton public information officer.
“It was awesome to see so many people sign up to donate,” Banks said. “We had a great response from our amazing community here in Edgerton.”
