On April 10, the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment conducted drive-thru random sample testing for COVID-19. The community testing included 374 participants. Results were: 374 tests administered; 369 tests processed; 14 positive tests – 3.8 percent of the total number of processed tests; 355 negative tests; and five tests were damaged; four tests were re-administered, one declined testing Additional drive-thru testing was conducted on April 17, to focus on essential workers, including first responders, hospice staff and child care workers, among others.
