8th Grade Varsity Score:  Lost 19-45
The eighth grade varsity traveled to Wheatridge Thursday night for their third game in a row for the week.  The Huskies couldn’t gain enough momentum to effectively compete in the game. Scorers were Taden Burke  with seven, Colton Hawkinson with four, Carson Hilton & Cooper Williams with three each, and Dalton Jackson added a bucket.  Dalton Jackson led rebounders with four. Carson Hilton got two steals. Taden Burke had a nice assist and Cooper Williams had a big block.  The huskies clenched the #3 seed for the upcoming tournament and will be facing Pioneer Ridge first on Saturday, February 29th. Finish strong Huskies!!!

8th  Grade JV Score: L 22-27
The eighth grade JV played a close hard fought game against Wheatridge, but couldn’t overcome the first half deficit and lost. Alex Veeman led in rebounds with four and had three steals. Ethan Lange led in scoring with seven points and had three steals. The Huskies finished the season with a 10-3 record and clenched the number one seed for the tournament on Saturday, February 29th.

7th Grade Varsity Score: Lost 7-42
The boys started strong but were not able to get shots to fall in the loss against WMS. Michael Garrie led all scorers with three points, two rebounds and one steal. Kaleb Moore had two points, seven rebounds, three blocks, two steals and one assist. Hayden Schulz knocked down two free throws, recorded two blocks and two steals. Easton Cordell recorded two rebounds and one blocked shot. Glenn Griffin recorded four rebounds and Danny Wahl recorded one rebound. A couple days of practice happen before the Huskies host Baldwin Middle in a wild card showdown to make the tournament at the end of the year. Come support your huskies.

7th  Grade JV Score:  L 15-46
The Huskies had a rough night against crosstown rival Wheatridge, falling 15-46. Leading scorers were Luke Ross and Drew Watts each with four.  Jacob Pahls had three, and Jovan Mereles-Tse and Gage Davis each added two. Riley Williams had three assists and two blocked shots. The Huskies will go into the tournament with a second seed next Saturday at Wheatridge and play Eudora.
