NOTICE is hereby given that the PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OLATHE, KANSAS, will hold a Public Hearing at its regular meeting in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 100 E. Santa Fe, Olathe, Kansas, on the 23rd of March 2020, at 7:00 PM, at which time and place you may be heard in regard to a zoning amendment request for the following described property situated in the City of Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas:

All that part of Lot 1, Moore Business Park, First Plat, a subdivision in the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 13 South, Range 24 East, in the City of Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas, described as follows:

COMMENCING at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 13 South, Range 24 East; thence South 87 degrees 33 minutes 47 seconds West, along the North line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 30, a distance of 50.00 feet to a point; thence South 02 degrees 11 minutes 51 seconds East, departing the North line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 30, a distance of 96.19 feet to a point on the East line of Lot 1, Moore Business Park, a subdivision in the City of Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas, said point also lying on the South line of 127th Street right of way as established in Book 200409, Page 005599, the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 02 degrees 11 minutes 51 seconds East, along said East line of Lot 1, a distance of 835.82 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 1; thence South 87 degrees 48 minutes 09 second West, departing the East line of said Lot 1, along the South line of said Lot 1, a distance of 356.83 feet to a point of curvature; thence in a Westerly direction, continuing along the South line of said Lot 1, along a curve to the left, having a radius of 1780.00 feet, through a central angle of 8 degrees 50 minutes 00 seconds, an arc distance of 274.42 feet to a point of tangency; thence South 78 degrees 58 minutes 09 second West, continuing along the South line of said Lot 1, a distance of 204.09 feet to a point of curvature; thence in a Westerly direction, continuing along the South line of said Lot 1, along a curve to the right, having a radius of 2670.00 feet, through a central angle of 2 degrees 33 minutes 15 seconds, an arc distance of 119.03 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence North 07 degrees 49 minutes 59 seconds West, departing the South line of said Lot 1, along the West line of said Lot 1, a distance of 91.71 feet to a point of curvature; thence in a Northerly direction, continuing along the West line of said Lot 1, along a curve to the right, having a radius of 620.00 feet, through a central angle of 33 degrees 33 minutes 54 seconds, an arc distance of 363.21 feet to a point of tangency; thence North 25 degrees 43 minutes 55 seconds East, along the West line of said Lot 1, a distance of 167.49 feet to a point of curvature; thence in a Northerly direction, continuing along the West line of said Lot 1, along a curve to the left, having a radius of 480.00 feet, through a central angle of 28 degrees 10 minutes 00 seconds, an arc distance of 235.97 feet to a point of tangency; thence North 02 degrees 26 minutes 05 seconds West, continuing along the West line of said Lot 1, a distance of 64.09 feet to a point on the South line of said 127th Street right of way; thence North 42 degrees 34 minutes 40 seconds East, departing the West line of said Lot 1, along the South line of said 127th Street right of way, a distance of 51.58 feet to a point; thence North 83 degrees 45 minutes 49 seconds East, continuing along the South line of said 127th Street right of way, a distance of 166.50 feet to a point; thence North 87 degrees 34 minutes 40 seconds East, continuing along the South line of said 127th Street right of way, a distance of 502.01 feet to a point; thence South 63 degrees 37 minutes 59 seconds East, continuing along the South line of said 127th Street right of way, a distance of 58.18 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 753,886 Square Feet or 17.3068 Acres, more or less..

Owners Request:  Zoning Amendment to an existing Planned District

Location or Vicinity:  Southwest of 127th Street and Mur-Len Road.

If, however, a protest against such zoning amendment be filed in the office of the City Clerk within fourteen (14) days after the date of the conclusion of the Public Hearing pursuant to said publication notice, duly signed and acknowledged by the Owners of twenty (20) percent of the total area, excepting public streets and ways, located within two hundred (200) feet, within the city limits, or one thousand (1,000) feet, within the unincorporated area, of property proposed for a Zoning Amendment, such zoning amendment shall not be passed except by at least three-fourths (3/4) vote of all of the members of the City Council.

This Notice shall be published once in the official City Newspaper at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of said Hearing.
