An evening of after-hours fun for local scouts is being planned at the Johnson County Museum in mid-October.
This special event is called Night at the Museum – Scout Edition, and is for ages six to 12. Scouts will get a hands-on look at history, community, and creativity as they find clues to solve the mystery of the missing artifacts.
This program will take place at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center, located at 8788 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, beginning at 6 p.m. on Oct. 18. The cost for one three-hour session is $12 per participant, including chaperones, who must stay with the children they bring. Call the museum’s reservation line at (913) 715-2552 to reserve your space. Another session of this event is planned for Jan. 10.
The Johnson County Museum is a department of the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
