The work consists of the following:

Six (6) borings to an estimated 65-ft depth using rotosonic drilling equipment and two (2) short duration aquifer pump tests. For each bore site, the contractor shall develop geologic logs of subsurface materials and collect samples of the unconsolidated aquifer for grain size analysis. The aquifer tests will be conducted using temporary wells in order to develop an estimate of the aquifer’s hydraulic parameters and collect water quality samples.

The City of Olathe, Kansas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.

Bids may be held by the City of Olathe, Kansas, for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
