The Lady Blazers were finally able to get on the field after several weather cancellations and took the field against a tough Olathe South team.
The Lady Blazers led the first game 6-3 heading into the final two innings before allowing South to load the bases in the bottom of the seventh and surrendering the games final two runs. Blazers would fall 7-6 in the first game. Bailey Bias lead the Blazers with 12 strikeouts. McKenzie Minea would hit two inside the park home runs.
Game two was much better defensively as the Blazers would take care of Olathe South 8-4. Madie Steed would throw a complete game striking out 10 Falcons. Kyleigh Bobki and Joslyn Kohl each reached base three times.
The ladies did a great job a battling back after a tough loss in game one to move to 1-1 on the short season.
