The Stanley Buccaneers are preparing to go to the Johnson County Fair.
Club members have been working on projects like sewing, ceramics, foods, rocketry, photography and many others, not to mention all the animals that are being shown like cows, dogs, goats, sheep and more.
Last year we won first place in the parade with our float based on the Blue Jeans and Denim Dreams theme. This year we are working on our Barn in the USA float and are hoping to win two times in a row.
The fair is a great place for 4-Her’s to share what they’ve learned throughout the year and exhibit the projects they’ve worked on. It’s a busy week, but we have a great time working the concession stand and participating with other 4-H clubs.
Be sure to come out and enjoy the exhibits, rides and events. You’re going to have a great time.
