Scoring 106 points, the Lady Blazers tied Mill Valley for first place honors in the Olathe East Track Invitational last week.
Olathe Northwest took third with 104 points while Pittsburg had 101 followed by Olathe South, Olathe North, Olathe East, Washburn Rurual and Topeka West.
Once again, Cassidy Androff led the way. She took two second place medals with a shot put of 41’8 inches and a discus toss of 112’.
Other silver medals went to Brenna Davidson with a javelin throw of 119’4 inches and Larissa Weidler with an 800 meter time of 2:29.02.
Morgan McIntire took third with an impressive 300 hurdle time of 49.3 and was third with a pole vault of 8’9 inches. Lauren Highfill took seventh in the same event with a clocking of 50.7.
Cortlyn Tryon took fourth with a 400 meter time of 1:04.9.
In the pole vault arena, Morgan McIntire took third clearing 8’9 inches. Sydney Wetherington and Kayla Burcham tied for fifth place clearing 8’3 inches. Taylor Grasser took fifth with a long jump of 16’6 inches. Abbey Bilhimer took fifth with a shot put of 34’6 inches and Cortlyn Tryon took fifth with a 200 time of 27.76.
Sixth place awards went to Roshea Daniels with a 13.3 clocking in the 100 meter dash. Highfill took sixth with a 100 meter hurdle time of 17.1, Kaeleigh Waruck with a 96’2 inches discus toss and Heather Culbertson with a 107’.
