It was a back and forth game, but the Trailridge Middle School seventh grade varsity husky basketball team turned back visiting Spring Hill, 17-16 last week.
Emma Pembleton led the way with eight points and ten rebounds. Jaylyne Bell added three points and eight rebounds. Scoring two points apiece were Grace Beaver, Katie Thompson and Gracen Mealman.
Trailridge improved to 4-7 on the season thanks to a tremendous defensive effort. Trailridge held Spring Hill to just six second half points.
It was a different story in seventh grade action as Trailridge dropped a 31-10 decision.
Jamie Pemberton led the scoring with five points. Other scorers were Michaela Konzem, and Karishma Campos.
