Spring Hill senior goalie Killian Beck was recently voted Tri County Spotlight Defensive player of the year.
Beck had 11 shutouts on the season and 80 saves. He led Spring Hill to the State qualifier where the Broncos lost to eventual State champion Bishop Miege, 4-1.
“Just a great leader to have on our back line,” said Coach Eric Swartz. “He was the team leader and a real hard worker.”
At one stretch in the Spring Hill season, Beck went on a 775 minute shutout streak. Much of that had to do with Beck’s ability in the goal.
His efforts helped Spring Hill to a 14-3-2 record and a regional championship.
