The Lady Jags seventh grade varsity basketball team met with mixed results in two games at Louisburg last weekend.
The Jags rallied for a 21-18 win versus Louisburg, but they fell 35-18 to Spring Hill in game two.
PRMS closed within two points entering the fourth quarter thanks to baskets by Cayden Forrester, Lily Kepler and McKenna Trout. From there, the Jags went on an 8-3 run to seal the verdict.
Trout led the scoring with seven points and five rebounds. Ellie Garrie added six points and Coleman, four points.
Things proved a bit more difficult in game two as PRMS dropped a 35-18 decision to Spring Hill.
The Jags rallied with a 6-0 fourth quarter run, but it wasn’t enough to notch the victory.
Despite the loss, PRMS got six points from Trout and four points from Forrester and Garrie.
