Jumping to a 20-6 first half lead, the Broncos turned back visiting Eudora 27-12 last Friday night.
Spring Hill got things going thanks to a six yard touchdown run by quarterback Jacob Letellier. Eudora answered with a 74 yard run to tie the game at 6-6.
Spring Hill took control in the second quarter scoring on touchdown runs by Tyshawn Straw (22 yards) and Letellier (20 yards) to go up 20-6 at halftime.
The Broncos salted the game away with a third quarter touchdown pass from Letellier to Nathan Ewing.
Offensively, Straw had another big night rushing for 217 yards on 30 totes. Letellier added 79 yards on 12 carries.
Through the air, Letellier completed 7 of 18 passes for 90 yards and one touchdown. His favorite targets were Ewing, Jordan Hoston and Mason Bell who caught two passes each.
With the win, Spring Hill improved to 5-3 and will play at defending 4A champion Miege Friday night.
“We are very proud of the effort this season,” said Coach Jason Feeback. ”We finished the regular season undefeated at home and 5-1 in league play. This earned us our first Frontier league title since 1992.”
