Defense keyed the Pioneer Ridge seventh grade varsity football win at Baldwin last week.
Baldwin pulled within 16-14 just before halftime, but the Jags stopped the two point conversion. Up 22-14 in the fourth quarter, PRMS sealed the win with an eight yard sack and interception.
Leading the way were tackles Gabe Castillo, Josh Hunter, Jaka Hanley and Brock Mabry.
Tyler Butash got things going early returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown.
The Jags went up 16-8 in the second quarter thanks to a 42 yard touchdown pass from Braden Smith to Butash. Butash also added a rushing touchdown.
Butash had four carries for 27 yards and a touchdown and hauled in a pass for another touchdown.
Through the air, quarterback Smith was two for six for 100 yards and a touchdown.
