Scoring 28 first half points, the Spring Hill Broncos varsity football team brought back a 42-6 win from Baldwin last Friday night.
Spring Hill, 2-2, went up 7-0 in the first quarter thanks to a 13 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jacob Letellier to Brennan Feeback.
Spring Hill put the game away with 21 second quarter points. Runningback Tyshawn Straw took control scoring on touchdown runs of eight, twelve and twenty-three yards. He added his fourth touchdown of the night in the third quarter touchdown run of 40 yards.
After a Baldwin score, Straw scored a fourth quarter touchdown for his fifth touchdown of the game.
All told, Spring Hill accumulated 360 yards of offense, including 277 rushing yards.
Straw led the way with 152 yards on 24 totes and five touchdowns. Letellier added 74 rushing yards on 10 carries and Jacob Scoma 35 on eight carries.
Through the air, Letellier connected on 9 of 14 passes for eight yards and one touchdown. His favorite targets were Nathan Ewing and Mason Bell with three catches apiece. Feeback also hauled in two passes for 18 yards and one touchdown.
