Rallying from a 12-0 first quarter deficit, the Spring Hill Broncos brought back an exciting 18-12 overtime win from Paola last Friday night.
Trailing 12-0, Spring Hill went to work in the third quarter. Jacob Letellier found the endzone from 27 yards out and pulled Spring Hill within 12-6.
Letellier’s fourth quarter touchdown of five yards forced the overtime period.
Once there, Spring Hill capitalized with Tyshaun Straw scoring the game winner from three yard out.
“We started out slow with penalties and turnovers in the first quarter,” said Coach Jason Feeback. We ended playing real well and our defense played lights out. I’m so proud of how our guys rallied and it was a great character builder for us.”
Now 1-2, Spring Hill travels to Baldwin (0-3) Friday night. Baldwin is fresh from a 42-21 loss to Ottawa.
