With the season winding down, the South Johnson County Bandits of Spring Hill are making their mark in 3&2 league and tournament play.
The Bandits play in the Metro eight and under Metro Machine pitch division against the best AA and AAA youth teams in the area.
“We went through a tough losing streak in the middle part of the season, but have rebounded well lately,” said Coach Scott Ragan. “We have a lot of confidence heading into the state tournament.”
Recently, the Bandits defeated the number two ranked AAA Rangers 7-6 and the number eight ranked AA Naturals, 9-8. In between the Bandits dropped a close 5-4 decision to the thirteenth ranked KC Sox, 5-4.
Todd Hall serves as the head coach and has help from assistant Ragan, Justin Miller, Brandon McCormick and Pat McEvoy.
Their roster includes Brady Carlson, Garrett Lynn, Hunter Hall, Brady McCormick, Rowan Cunningham, Luc Taylor, Layton Hunt, Peyton McEvoy, Jordan Miller, Syler Stewart, Ben Ragan, Henry White, and Kyle Stewart.
