Chase Bryant

Country music star Chase Bryant is headlining Gardner’s celebration on July 4. Bryant serves as the biggest-named performer to grace the stage during one of the city’s concert-focused celebrations since they began in 2014.
“Bringing in a musical act such as Chase Bryant is part of our effort to enhance the quality of life for our citizens,” said Cheryl Harrison-Lee, city administrator. “We want them to be able to enjoy high-quality entertainment here in Gardner versus having to travel to a neighboring city. This is also an opportunity to attract visitors, potential residents and businesses to showcase Gardner as the progressive and thriving city that it is.”
Prior to Bryant taking the stage, the crowd will also enjoy the musical sounds of country rock singer Rusty Laffoon, Gardner local and noted Kansas City’s best newcomer Sara Morgan, and returning fan-favorite Big Time Grain Company. The entertainment will begin at 3 p.m. at Celebration Park, located at 32501 W. 159th St., Gardner. The event also includes zip lining, face painting, bounce houses and a variety of food vendors with a fireworks show culminating the evening. The event is free and open to all ages.
To help manage overflow parking, the city is providing a shuttle service from the Gardner-Edgerton High School, located at 425 N. Waverly Road, in addition to designated traffic routes. Shuttle and route details, along with concert information, can be found at www.gardnerkansas.gov/fourthofjulycelebration.
Charcoal grills or fireworks of any kind are not permitted at Celebration Park or any of the designated parking areas.
