Having fun in the sun is a sure thing when at one of Kansas’ 26 state parks. Parks provide hiking, fishing, boating, biking, horseback riding, and just relaxing in the outdoors. And while all of state parks provide a wide variety of outdoor activities, there is also a long list of special events, too.
Park managers are always striving to enhance the state park experience by hosting music festivals, runs, triathlons, outdoor kid’s days, Fourth of July celebrations and more.
