The Gardner Parks and Recreation Department and the Gardner Police Department are combining efforts for the 16th Annual Bike Rodeo.
The event will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday, June 4 in the Gardner Edgerton High School Parking lot. Cost is $5, and registration deadline is May 31. The event is for those 12 and under.
A Gardner Police Officer will talk to the kids about bike safety. Afterwards the kids will get the chance to ride their bikes through different obstacle courses teaching them hand signals and how to use their brakes. Each child will receive a free bike helmet and will have the chance to win prizes donated by local businesses.
