Outscoring their nearest opponent by 24.5 points, the Trailridge Huskies seventh grade boys brought back first place honors from the Spring Hill Invitational last week.
Leading the way were gold medalist Riley Pemberton (shot put, 33’ ½”), Andrew Cassida (100 meter hurdles, 17.4 seconds), Jack Lott (1600 meters, 5:24), and the sprint medley team.
For the seventh grade girls, the 400 meter relay team took silver medal honors.
Third place awards went to Brandy Njogu (hurdles), the 800, sprint medley, and 1600 relay teams.
For the eighth grade girls, Hailey Morris took first in the 400 in 1:08.4, and Sadie Watkins.
Anna Tropanksy tied for second in the pole vault.
Gold medals for the eighth grade boys, Brett Harding won the long jump with leap of (18’ 3 ½”) and the 200 in 24.2 seconds; Will DeBolt (3200 meters, 12:30), Owen Krouch (100 hurdles, 16.6 seconds), Jakob Renaud (100 meters, 11.2 seconds), and the sprint medley relay team.
