Scoring 70 in a doubleheader JV and varsity combined, the Blazers defeated De Soto twice last week.
In game one, GEHS batted around in its lineup twice and posted a 22-6 win.
Mikayla Galvin went 3-4 with two doubles, while Sydney Deitz and Cassidy Greer went 3-4 with five RBI’s.
Cede Miller also had three hits.
In game two, Abby Cox pitched to just 15 batters in a 17-1 win.
GEHS scored 10 runs in the second inning on nine hits. Ashlyn Anderson went 5-8 with a double and a homerun.
In the JV doubleheader, GEHS posted a 10-0 and 21-0 victories. In game one, Nikayla Kussatz went 3-3 with a triple, Ivy Brewer 3-4, Carly Gragg, three hits and Amber Mott, two hits.
In the game two 21-0 win, GEHS broke things open with 15 consecutive hits and seven straight doubles.
