City of Gardner has launched its newly designed website at its current web address:
Key features of the site include a modern look showcasing the city’s colors of blue and gold coinciding with its new brand; a user-friendly navigation to help visitors find information more quickly; and fresh content that provides greater customer service to diverse users.
“We are excited about our new website, which serves as an essential marketing tool for the city. The site highlights the many benefits of living in Gardner and conducting business in Gardner,” Cheryl Harrison-Lee, city administrator, said.
The city t had three goals in mind when developing the site: provide better transparency of information; create a more user-friendly experience; and deliver relevant content that serves the needs of residents, visitors and businesses.
In addition, the city has enhanced their customer service by providing a component called “Submit a Service Request.” This new enhancement allows users to report service issues such as potholes or ask questions that will be addressed by the appropriate staff member.
“We want visitors to recognize our website as a resource for the latest city news, forms and applications, general information, development materials and more – all housed in a convenient and easy-to-use manner,” Harrison-Lee said. “We look forward to everyone viewing it, and we welcome any feedback that will help make the website provide even more customer service.”
The city’s new website replaces the city’s original website that was first introduced more than 10 years ago.
