The Gardner Edgerton Chamber of Commerce announced the following as nominees for the Citizen of the Year and Business of the Year awards to be given out on Tuesday, May 3 at the Gardner Edgerton Chamber’s Annual Dinner.

• Groundhouse Coffee
• Trails West ACE Hardware
• Nexus Accounting
One individual will win the Citizen of the Year award, presented in conjunction with the Gardner Rotary Club. This individual will be awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary’s top honor.
One business will win the Business of the Year award, presented by the Gardner Edgerton Chamber of Commerce.
Both will be welcomed back to present the awards at the 2017 Chamber Annual Dinner.
Featured speaker at the annual dinner is John McDonald, founder, Boulevard Brewing. The dinner is May 3 at Mildale Farm, 35250 W 199th, Edgerton. Social hour begins at 5:30 with dinner and business and citizen of the year at 6:30 p.m.
McDonald will provide insights from his career building one of Kansas City’s most iconic brands and share what’s in store for the future.
