Using balanced scoring, the Blazers boys and girls track team brought back first place honors from the Mill Valley Invitational last week.
The boys and girls teams combined for nearly 400 points and to win both divisions.
On the boys side, Trent Cochran raced to gold with a new freshman 1600 meter time of 4:41.2. Jazz Davis cleared 13’0’ to win the pole vault and Sam Stranathan took gold with a personal best discus toss of 136’8.”
Earning silver medals were Davis Tropansky (pole vault- 12’6”), Marshall Carpenter (shot put- 46’5 1/2”), Sae Alcorn-Tisinger (200 meters- 23.5), Carson Hughes (3200- 10:25.6), Dylan Wohlford (javelin- 151’9”) and the 400 meter relay team.

On the girls side, gold medals want to Kaitlyn Dayton (high jump), Macey Elkinton (shot put), Lauren Strick (discus), Kyla Shappell (800), Abbie Buie (pole vault), Haylei Bell (300 hurdles), Amy Kamtio (100), Miranda Tenove (1600) and the 400, 1600, and 3200 meter relay teams.
