Things continue to go well for Coach Joanne Calvin and her Lady Blazer softball squad.
Last week the Blazers improved to 7-1 with a sweep of Blue Valley by scores of 3-2 and 14-4.
“The team is really playing well right now and I’m real proud of the effort,” said Calvin.
Abby Cox collected two more pitching wins striking out 11 hitters. Cassidy Greer led the offense going 6-7.

In JV action, GEHS gained a split with Blue Valley. Blue Valley won the first game 8-7 but the Blazers bounced back with a 14-4 win in game two.
A 12 run second inning sealed the win for GEHS in game two.
Kylie Adden collected seven hits in the doubleheader while Haylie Harris went 2-3 with two RBI’s.
