The set of The Friends Experience II to be held at the GEHS auditorium April 20-22. Submitted photo

“The ‘FRIENDS’ Experience II” is an original concept written and conceived by Jeff Lady.  The Gardner Edgerton High School theatre department will transform the auditorium into a television studio with a partially scripted and partially improvised “live” taping of an original episode of the hit NBC television series “Friends.” Students will play all of the roles from camera operators to directors to network executives to the cast of “Friends” themselves and give the audience a look at what it would be like to be at a real live television show taping in Hollywood.
Performance dates are April 20 – 22 at 7 p.m. in the GEHS auditorium.  Throughout the night there will be aa raffle to raise money for The Performing With A Purpose performing arts scholarship established last year by GEHS alumni Cooper McGuire as well as raising money to help Mason Owen, sophomore, purchase his service dog.
