The Trailridge Huskies seventh and eighth grade girls and boys track teams turned in impressive performances in their home triangular meet with Paola and Spring Hill last week.
The boys team took second place while the girls team placed third.
For the seventh grade girls, Jasmine Walker took first in the pole vault, clearing 5 feet 6 inches, Brandy Njogn took second in the hurdles and the 400 relay took second.
For the eighth grade girls, Sadie Watkins won the pole vault and 800 meters, Anna Tropansky also tied for first in the pole vault.
Second place finishes were Hailey Morris (400 meters), the 800 relay, and sprint relay.
For the seventh grade boys, Jack Lott won the 800 in 2:36 and the 1600 in 5:41. Ivan Jalabony won the high jump, clearing 4 feet 8 inches.
Second place finishes came from Isaac Hopkins (800 meters), Brody Gilmore (high jump), Luke Faulkner (pole vault) and the sprint medley.
For the eighth grade boys, Jakob Renaud won the 100, Brett Harding (200 meters) and the sprint medley relay team.
Second place finishes went to Renaud (200,400), Owen Krouch (hurdles), Dayton Williams (high jump) and the 800 relay.
New records set were seventh grade girls Lily Keimig (long jump), Angeliece Guitierriez (1600).
New records in the eighth grade girls were Payton Outler (discus), Lizzie Bocanegra (1600), and Hailey Morris (400 meters).
