It’s been quite a season for Coach Ryan Colston and his eighth grade Trailridge boys varsity basketball team.
Colston’s crew posted an impressive 12-4 record and second place finish in the Frontier league.
“I’m real proud of the team’s improvement throughout the season,” said Coach Ryan Colston.
Brett Harding was the team’s high scorer averaging 13 points per game. He hit a team high 48 percent of his shots and a team high 20 three-pointers.
He also had a team high 38 steals.
Laine Meyer averaged eight points and was the leading rebounder with six rebounds per game.
Trevor Layng’s court awareness was beyond anyone in the league and top post play came from Jakob Renaud, Owen Krouch and Shawn Waters.
Top three point shooters were Trey Kaberline and Ian Deghand. They combined to hit 20 treys.
