The Blazers withstood a late fourth quarter rally and posted a 48-44 home win versus Blue Valley Southwest last Friday. It was the Blazers first win of the season.
“I was thrilled with our improvement that we showed on the defensive end,” said Coach Jeff Langrehr. Neither team played to their potential offensively, but the crowd helped us a lot.”
Nate Wagner paced the Blazers with 16 points and Bryson Rohr added 14 points. Devan Toomey scored ten points.
Conner Boyt, Jace Sprague and Hunter Boyt were key defenders.
“I was so happy for our kids and coaches who have worked so hard this last month and rewarded with a nice home win,” added Langrehr.
