Wheatridge Middle School Mustang football team fired off 32 points in the first half of play against cross town rivals, the Pioneer Ridge Middle School Jags last week. By the end of play, WMS blanked the Jags in a 40-0 Mustang victory.
PRMS Coach Jeff Davidson said the Jags faced challenges on both sides of the ball.
“Our offense struggled against a tough Mustang defense,” Davidson said. “We could only must 66 total yards of offense.”
Now 2-4, Pioneer prepares for another cross town foe in Trail Ridge Middle School.
