The Gardner Edgerton Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its 40th anniversary this weekend.
Incorporated on Sept. 15, 1975, the Chamber has invited past Chamber leaders and members and the general public to help celebrate its 40-year milestone.
The informal celebration will include free hot dogs and hamburgers, anniversary cake, children’s activities and wine tasting.
“If we’re lucky, we’ll even get to hear a few stories from past chairmen of the board dating back into the 1970s,” Chamber President Jason Camis said in a release.
The event will occur, rain or shine, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25 at the new KC Pumpkin Patch and KC Wine Co., 13875 Gardner Road. RSVPs are not required, but appreciated.
